Here’s how to actually do it:
– Know your numbers per product.
Let’s stop pretending.
If your product sells for ₦15k and it costs ₦5k to source, ₦4k to deliver, and you’re spending ₦3k on ads per order… how much is left? ₦3k.
That’s your actual profit. Guess what? It’s not…
If you’ve a 50% delivery rate. You ad cost to get one customer is now ₦6k.
If you refund even one person, that ₦3k is gone.
That’s why tracking isn’t “for big brands.” It’s for you.
If you’re not checking profit per product, per week… you’re just playing.
– Add Upsells or Bundles.
This is not about being aggressive. It’s about being smart.
If someone just order from you, it means they trust you already.
So instead of saying “thank you” and going quiet, give them an offer they can’t ignore:
“Add 1 more product for ₦5k off”…
“Get this bonus gel if you buy package 2”…
“Buy 2, Get 1 Free”…
After they buy, checkup on them and upsell them.
Why beg for new customers when the old ones are still holding their wallet?
– Focus on your high-margin products.
Not every product is meant to be scaled.
Some are just traffic magnets. Some are loss leaders.
But that one that gives you ₦10k+ clean profit?
That one you should love like your firstborn.
Run more ads for it. Retarget it. Build a backend around it.
There’s no award for scaling 10 products at once.
Find your money-maker and pour fuel on it.
If it’s giving you ₦10k–₦20k+ profit per customer consistently, you’ve struck small gold.
Now dig deeper.
– Follow up after purchase.
Your second sale is always easier – and cheaper – than your first.
But most sellers go ghost.
No thank-you message.
No reorder request.
No loyalty gift or referral bonus.
You’re waiting for Facebook to bring a stranger again…
Meanwhile, the person who just bought from you might buy again if you simply ask.
You might be afraid to ask because you think they’ll say your product is not good.
If they say that, help them…
Because it’s true, there’s no way you’ll scale a bad product to N100M+
Send a WhatsApp follow-up.
Ask them to buy the same product.
Offer a better product.
Introduce a new product.
