Brainstorm 5+ hooks every day (yes, every damn day)
This is where the money starts.
Not in your product.
Not in your page.
Not even in your ad budget.
If your hook is weak, even FB God can’t bless the ad.
That’s just facts.
So every day, I force myself or my team and now CHATGPT to come up with 5 fresh hooks.
I don’t wait for “inspiration” — I drag them out of myself.
I write things like:
“My wife almost slapped me for buying this… until she used it.”
“I bought this thing for ₦30k. My friend paid ₦120k and he’s still angry.”
“I was using this wrong for 6 months. Then I read the manual.”
Don’t overthink.
Don’t try to be Shakespeare.
Be real. Be local. Be interesting.
Your hook is the shout that stops someone mid-scroll.
If it doesn’t punch, it won’t pull.
Batch 10 video creatives using those hooks
Now I’m not saying become a video editor o.
I’m saying use the same product footage.
Just change the intro line, the text on screen, the voice-over or even the music…
…for your current winning creative.
Nigerians get bored fast.
If they’ve seen your ad once, they’ll ignore it next time — unless you flip the script.
Same gel — but one ad starts with “My mother now swears by this…”
Another starts with “Hospitals don’t want you to see this…”
Same product. Different vibe. Different audience. Different energy.
That’s how you win.
Test them all.
Let the market vote.
I don’t assume anything anymore.
The ad I like always flops.
The one that makes me cringe? That one will do 100 orders.
So now, I test everything.
Watch what happens.
The one that wins? I scale it hard.
The losers? I kill them without shame.
No emotion. No attachment. No “but this one looks nice.”
That’s the cycle.
The ad that looks the worst might perform the best.
Yes, really.
Sometimes, your most unedited, raw, rough-footage, “shaky hand” ad will outperform the one you paid a graphic designer ₦30k to design.
Facebook doesn’t reward polish.
It rewards attention.
And attention doesn’t care if your video is edited in CapCut or shot in heaven.
If it hooks, it wins.

Let me say it clearer:
